On Father’s Day we took a break from our travels into Washington D.C. and toured the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.
Harpers Ferry National Historic Park is located where Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia come together and made for a great day trip from Shenandoah National Park.
Emily and Sarah receiving their second Junior Ranger badge of the trip at the Old Courthouse near Gateway Arch National Park. The Old Courthouse was the site of the first two trials of the pivotal Dred Scott case in 1847 and 1850.
